A narrative-driven concept sonic portrait that was created using solely field recordings made within the BT Tower in London. The piece features a mix of acoustic and electromagnetic field recordings, shaped into a subjective reaction to the hidden sounds and ambiences within the tower. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to extensively record the tower over five field recording sessions. From the emergency generators in the subterranean levels to outdoor London ambiences from the balcony at the top.
